Geckofied Projects

Jennie Wood Designs

Jennie Wood is an accomplished UK-based artist and designer, celebrated for her striking textile art. Her works have been exhibited widely and many have found homes around the world.

To showcase the breadth of her creativity – and make it easy for clients to explore, purchase or commission new pieces – Jennie needed a website that would act as a gallery as well as a shopfront. It needed to exhibit her diverse collections, with fast-loading images, in clear categories and sub-categories.

We were honoured to work on the Jennie Wood Designs website with its magnificent collections. Jennie knew exactly what she wanted. The wording is all her own and she provided us with the images in high-resolution. We used WordPress for the development because Jennie wanted a website that, once built, would allow her to take the reins, giving her full control and the freedom to change the displays and post new artworks whenever necessary.

Working with the Gecko team was an absolute pleasure. Our website is exactly what I was hoping for, and just four weeks from launching, nearly all the books are in the first 15 results on Google search. I couldn’t be happier!
